Picked up these miniature Satsuma hand painted vases today at a yard sale. Love them but wish I know more about them. The smaller one is 2 1/2" tall. The other is about 3" tall.
Need some help deciphering the marks on these vases. Anyone have any suggestions how to research the marks? Or can you tell me anything about them? Thankful for any and all help.

Thanks so much for information on the vases. Now at least I have a starting point to do a little research.

have to guess here , because there is a lot of distortion also, the cobalt blue vase with the wisteria is probably accompagnied with the abbreviation satsuma ( yaki)
this type of ware be real early the cobalt blue en the wisteria narrows it down to very late mejji , but a lack of clan mark (mon) maybe early taisho period

the other vase tom much distortion , maybe an Kusube Sennosuke around 1920
