Hi
Everyone
I am always looking for Artwork and Friday last week during my daily hunt i found this enormous impressionist oil on canvas at the Salvation Army, the volunteer have just hanging to the wall few minute before i came in(confess to me)the style of this artwork remind me Antonio Devitty one of my preferred impressionist painter, this painting depicted a venetian scene on the canal. The Deep perspective at the horizon was quite impressive, even the reflection on the water was done in realistic manner, the figures on the sidewalk was dress like fifties era.
Ive not do any research yet on that one, date around 1950-60 in the original period carving frame.
This painting was 55.50 inch by 31.50 inch, the canvas 48 inch by 24 inch.
Thanks for Viewing.
Alan
