I received this as a gift from a friend. She said she got it at an antique resale shop. They didn't know what it was, We finally figured out it is a flute. Seems to be made out of clay. I can not find any markings on it & was just curious of the origin & not getting any luck. Thanks, never been on here before so I hope I did everything right. I have no idea or clue if it is old or not. It is unique looking & she got it for me because I have five cats. It does make music sounds when the large hole is blown into.

It's made from terracotta. Not an antique :-) but a very cute item!

Thanks, yeah I posted to a cat group I am on, on FB and pretty much with some help, pointed it down to a Peruvian whistle. I didn't really think it was old or expensive but never saw anything like it before and was curious. I will be keeping it for sure. Thanks for your reply.
