Such a cool piece. It is like a cross between a suitcase and a trunk.
This is a Hercules Bentwood Foundation storage trunk. In 2012 one sold for $35 at auction. Just read the label and enter what it says into a search engine. That's a good start. You may want to try and find out what the V.A.P. stands for.
