    20.5" wide
    32" long
    22.5" high
Red metal with wood grain paint finish
    Gold metal

A friend was tossing this out.
It had been left in her Brooklyn apartment when she moved in.
    It's lined with paper inside.
Aside from a scuff on the top, it's in pretty good shape.

    Any information would be appreciated!

Your trunk is a cross slat, round top trunk(1900's and later based on the hardware I see) Some were called Moniter top trunks, but very few. ) The covering is tin, The gold finish that you see is called a" mottled"finish (A rather extensive process of heating/ cooling, of the tin.It was very popular with this style of trunk and came in a variety of colors/finishes.These were made by the thousands by many manufacturers .Yours has a nice feature though as it contains the center slat running down the middle. It would have had a interior tray that fit nicely into that lid. Much luck with it.
