A beautiful oil lamp, with ceramic top and base adorned with angels and gold patterns, it has a round wick. Found in one of the houses at my grandparents farm, my grandparents don't know much about it. There's no makers mark on it as far as I can see, so I don't know its age or place of origin. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Are you sure it is ceramic? Looks like a wedgewood inspired bisque pocrelain kerosene lamp to me. European maybe France or Germany?

Check the wick tuner for a name.

@Robin56 - Hmm, yeah, it could be bisque porcelain, didn't really think of that. Bisque porcelain is a type of ceramic though, I just put ceramic as a catchall in the title because I wasn't sure what kind of ceramic material it was. I'll check the wick tuner more closely for a name later. Thank you for the information :)

The hardware looks original to the lamp and I would think that the thumbwheel may have a Crown design that indicates a newer Japan or Taiwan provenance. They made thousands of lamp designs over the last 30-40 years. RER

That screw cap collar would mark it as ca. 1950's.
