Even though I'm not a religious man, I do find religion and church history to be very interesting, so when I found this book at an antiquarian book seller near me, I knew I had to buy it, and the great hardcover binding really added to its charm. The book is written by Anton Christian Bang in 1887, He was a professor of church history, as well as a politician, and theologian.
