This Vase (?) came in a glass lot I recently bought. I know nothing about it nor who the maker is. It stands 8" tall and has a signature, but I can't decipher it. Is anyone familiar with these? I found one with this description: "Bohemian, early 20th century. A Persian water sprinkler form vase of yellow glass with vertical ribs of applied rigaree with white enamel, the body sections and spout elaborately painted with deer, flowers, and pressed gilt enamel medallions, the tall neck with organically shaped wide rimmed mouth". Any help is appreciated.

Very bright and colourful, I know it's not, but it looks like a Porron from which you pour wine into your mouth, I'm sure you'll know. Lovely item it would really make me stand out if I had one of these in Spain, because they are normally plain glass.

Thanks for the love and comments Sean and Jean, and thanks for the love Gary, Lee, Peggy and Mani.
@Jean... Yes, that second link is definitely the same but without the enamel work. I remember seeing these used in Spain, but like you said, they were plain. Thanks for the links.

Oh my goodness, that is a special piece. It most reminds me of Moser enameling in style; here is an example you can take a look at to see what I mean: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/573857177495074590/
I usually think of water sprinklers as being either the sort of goose-neck style you see in Loetz and Harrach, or the slightly more Victorian style, where they had a pierced metal top for the 'sprinkling'. To me it looks a bit like a very fine watering can, but that is just my horticultural bent. ;) It is a beauty, Rick!

I haven't seen where anyone has knowledge of the name yet. I hope someone knows soon. I'd like to know too. It's cool to just know to even look for a signature, right?!?

Cire is a new one on me, perhaps it's related to Royo in some way?
    11. madforglass, 9 years ago
Cirera was a Spanish decorator of glass from 1950's. You can see: http://www.madforglass.com/moser/mose_089.html

hanks so much for the comments and love Nativejewery, Kevin, Efes, Ken, Karen, Michele, Tiger, Madforglass and Share, it's definitely appreciated.

Thank you Tigerchips and Madforglass for the links. I see the similarities in both examples, and the signature is definitely Cirera. Tigerchips example indicates it's a modern piece while Madforglass' dates Cirera to the 50's. I'm so confused...

They were reffering to the book which dates to 1988, it was modern then. Not sure where the 1950 comes from, you'd have to find out when the company was set up i guess.

Genis Cirera, was thought to have been working during the 1930's, which would be consistent with his dates....
