I haven't purchased any costume jewelry lately. The thrill has kind of wore off and I have way too much to boot. Today at Salvation though there were a couple of boxes for my friend and I to sort though. All in zip lock bags and probably donated from finished garage or estate sales. These were the stand out pieces in quality and sheer size. The Kramer of New York brooch is 2" in diameter. It has a concave basket shape instead of domed filled with clear rhinestones. I've also seen this one in shades of blue which is beautiful as well. The emerald green spray is a huge piece at almost 4" long. The baguette rhinestones are mounted on very bendable wires so you can adjust them. Smaller clear stones are mounted to the tips of each branch. Oddly there is no mark on such an impressive piece maybe someone has an idea as to who made it. -Mike-
Thanks Ken :)...I actually like the green spray better. Great design, color and cut of the stones. The Kramer piece does have a lot of "bling" factor though.
Very delicate pieces, love the design!
Thanks so much Virginia :)
mike these are just adorable. I so wish these were mine :)
Thanks Anne :)...they are probably among the nicest costume pieces I've found yet.
I go the green too, although the Kramer piece is a great shape.
I need to call you jammy.
Thanks Karen :) It's really a large piece too. The pic is probably 3/4 of it's original size. A real statement piece for sure !
