these were given to me from grandmother..i know nothing about them..please help....all I know is that they are really old and work

"they both work"? In what way as I'm not sure what we are dealing with?
I mean that they still both light up when you put bulb in..i did not know this until yesterday..have just had them on my dresser..have never put bulbs in them to see if they even lit up..but they do.Do you know who they are made by?
was afraid to even plug in since they only have 2 prongs...but all was good when I did plug in...no sparks or shocks
does anyone know approx. how old the really are?
