Anyone know the era of this trunk?

I think the Flaxite foundation Logo/badge stands for the hard material on the outside of the trunk but whats does W.E.R stand for?

Any information on this trunk would be grateful, been given it by nan who has passed away.

W.E.R. are the initials of the owner, and most likely the person who originally purchased it. The trunk looks to be covered in fiber (not leather) and is most likely from around 1920 or so.
