    Someone famous? Most likely, but I don't have a clue as to who he is. He has a distinctive appearance-- anyone recognize him?

    Any feedback is appreciated.

    Sculpture looks to be newly finished and photographed in the artist studio on a board rather than on a final display column.

    The cdv is typical of the 1860s- 70s and is by Rockwood of NY City.
