While we're on a roll today...... Here is a surfboard coffee table that now functions as a Danish style sideboard/dining table. I really needed a skinny table to eat at, and this fit the bill. It was painted brown, so I stripped and refinished it. The legs (thankfully) just bolt on, so I can put the orginal legs back on it should I ever have a large enough room to use it as a coffee table. The top is a little more glossy than it should be, but I wanted it to be hard-wearing since it is used.
Kovels today reported on a Danish dining table that sold for a bit of money. I love the style. :)
I should look that up perhaps....
Lovely pieces. Love the chairs -- Know the maker of them??
Reminds me a bit of some Mid Modern designs by the HONDERRICH company also:

Are you in Canada? Just wondering when I see that lovely Chalet Long Arm Art glass Bowl.....LOL
I am indeed in Canada, that bowl... it is an actual thing??? With a name? I just thought it looked interesting. The chairs are apparently Uldum Mobelfabrik.. I'll post a pic of the tag for you.
Yes the Art Glass Bowl you have is a Canadian Art Glass Called CHALET. From around the 1960's / 1970's. There are some more posted here on CW for you to see. I am sure in those posts you will also see some history about Chalet Art Glass or links. Chalet Glass is a collectible thing all it self. I figured you must be in Canada, EH? We recognize the Canadian Stuff.....LOL

Well who knew....! The info is much appreciated. I feel even better about the $2.50 I paid for it. Now that I know it's a thing I'll be tempted to collect though... yikes.
I love this !!!
