This is a fairly large bowl - little over 6" across. it has decorations of different kinds of flowers in red and traced w/ gold along w/ a cricket inside and outside of the bowl. On the bottom it says 'Japanese Porcelain Ware' and 'Decorated in Hong Kong' and ATC inside a diamond in the middle. any info appreciated. found at Goodwill.

712. Mark: "AFC-Decorated in Hong Kong", Date: Fourth quarter of 20th century.
Great web site, just bookmarked it. Although I'm not a big fan of Japanese/Chinese ware, I really enjoy finding out about age, where made and the significance of these items to population at the time made. Thanks.
It's very beautiful!
thank you walksoftly, Gillian and jenlyn1914! gotheborg is a GREAT site and definitely worth bookmarking for all collectors!
I have the complete dinner service of this porcelain that I purchased in Hong Kong in 1981. It was hand painted in the Overjoy Porcelain Factory. This is no longer in business. It's called the Grasshopper design. was considering selling it as I no longer use it and was searching online for values when I found this thread. Hope this information is useful.
