I couldn't resist this little train when I saw it with the vase I just posted. I remember these. And it's just as cute now as way back then. So classic, from the 50's. Did most moms use these to hold diaper pins?

It's made in Mexico and has something imprinted on the bottom but I can't figure out what it says. I've done the paper and pencil trace, no luck. I can't put water and powder because of the sticker. It's all good tho. The sticker. Oh...hold up, it says exactly what the sticker says. Silly me! 'Ceromex del Norte, S. A." "Made in Mexico" Pretty amazing that the sticker still looks really new!

    Who can resist those eyes?

      Love it!!

Lots were made in Japan too. I recall these being a gift for the New Mom in the Hospital with a small plant in it and with CONGRATS, etc, etc.

Thanks Rosie. Isn't that crazy how one thing can sell (or be listed) for such a low price and a few scrolls later, you see it for 5 times or more??? Crazy right?!? I think it should be at least $1 per year that it has survived...oh well, so much for my thought. lol Thanks

LOL...Price doesn't matter....it is Priceless. You can still have lots of uses in the home for anything. Pins, Q-tips. I love when vintage items are given a new purpose in life.
