This pitcher weights a whopping 6 pounds and holds
1-1/2 quarts of liquid.
The cutting is very nice with 2 large hobstars which measure
about 4" on either side of the pitcher.
The front has a large x cut miter with blazed fans in between and two more blazed fans on the back.
Handle is double notched with ovals and is attached
perfectly to the body.
The pitcher is approximately 7 1/2" to the top of the spout
and the base is about 6 1/2" in diameter.
The base has a 24 point star. This pitcher was my mothers and has been in the family for many years. Dates from around 1910.
