I have been given this electrical shaver, purchased in 1938, in the Uk from the only Remington shop there was back in the days. Knowing somewhat of the owners history, I think this was purchased for the fiance who not ever got to use it. It is in unused condition, warranty registration and manual are in mint condition . Postal address, date and stamp are on the original delivery box, which contains the actual, red, item box how it must have sat on the shelf in the shop. It contains the leather travel case with electrical shaver, cable and different plugs. Unfortunately I am unable to test if it works. It probably could do with a bit of oil and a clean up.
I have written here to see if anyone could shed a light on the value.
I would also appreciate some tips how to go about to cleaning it.
Best I can do is say that I am the only person I've ever met who cut himself with an elec. razor.
Welcome....As a past barber-stylist here....Put some Wahl Oil on the blades ( a drop ) and plug it in ( where are you located, and your Power Source??) It should be okay as the cord look good as it looks like it was kept in the box. So no wear and tear on it....and proper power used. It looks very clean already.
~ Values, we do not give them out here.
Marvel Mystery oil should be great for it. It's the ONLY thing that keeps elec, fans going for decades.
