I haven't posted on here for a while but that doesn't mean I stopped collecting.
Picture 1: I found this 1958 cooler at an antique shop in Oshkosh, WI for only $160. It was made by TempRite MFG. Co. Inc. It is in really great shape. A little bit of paint is missing and there are only two small dents. Also in picture 1 is two old Coke bottles. The one on the left is the "Bottle Pat., D Nov 16, 1915. I paid $20 but it is in excellent condition and it is so far the only Sheboygan, WI (where I'm from) bottle I've found. On the right side is a straight sided bottle. I paid $50 there is a chip on the lip of the bottle but I've really been wanting a straight sided bottle.
Picture 2: I found this 1950s aluminum 6 pack for $45 at a different antique shop in Oshkosh, WI. It is in great shape. I've also really wanted one and now that's one less thing I need to find.
Picture 3: This is an updated picture of my service pin collection. Now I've got everything from the "pledge pin" to the "35 Year" service pin.
Picture 4: I found this 1960s dispenser bank actually at Goodwill for $8. The book says it is worth $200 with the box in near perfect condition. The label itself is kind of faded but I'm thinking it must still be worth at least $50-$100 with a faded label.
Next time I'm gonna try to post things when I get it. So I don't have to write these long posts.
Absolutely love the bank and incredible deal!
The cooler is a great piece. I would love to see more photos of it.
All nice pieces Pemberton. Your pin collection is very impressive. Maker was Roy Booker Co. out of Atlanta, all from same period roughly 1940's. Good to see you posting again!
Goodwill for $8?....awsome find Pemberton. Thank you for the long post and nice collection.
Thanks spriteboy42 I try to frequent thrift stores to see if I can find some good Coca-Cola items and this is definitely a first time for finding something good.
fortapache, I'll make another post of just the cooler and I'll take better photos with my Nikon camera instead of my phone camera.
Daddy_Nobucks, thanks. I'm just missing the 40, 45, and 50 year pins. I know I've seen 50+ year pins but those go for way to much and are hard to find.
Edisonfan, at first I was going to leave it because I thought $8 was too much (because of the condition) but then I'm like what's $8 bucks I'll take a chance and I'm glad I did.
