    I love this trunk and i have a matching chest. Found both at goodwill have no idea the era. But seems old and just beautiful. I wish i knew the story behind it. Ill post the chest also.

      I really think this would be wonderful to own with the drawers in it.

      From the looks of it .It could be a Hartmann Cushion top or more probably a G.H. Wheary trunk. These were two of the main makers of this style of wardrobe trunk looks like the shoe box in the bottom survived.This could be the patent for that circa 1919 shoe box.Good luck with it thanks for the post.
