My husband brought this beauty home recently as a house warming present for our new home. After some research i think its from the J.C. Virden company 1930s rayburn series.

Fantastic! I can really see this fitting in with your collection.

We had a similar light in a house we owned from about 1925. We called it the light eating monster because it was always blowing globes. Of course we never got an electrician to look at it......too slack.

Thank you racer4four, the lady he purchased it from is a sweetheart and really took care of this beauty.

I think your husband has good taste and he was kind to have purchased it for you both. I've always had a niche for the Decco from the 30's myself. Very pretty light fixture.
