VINTAGE HUMMEL POSTCARD

An original Berta Hummel postcard in the early painting style of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel, O.S.F. - as she was know in the Congregation of the Franciscan Sisters of Siessen.

I particularly like this one as it is very colorful - with a beautiful religious theme - but yet in keeping with her love of painting children.

I am not showing these as they would appear in the original language - but I was told Verlag means publisher in German

I was unsuccessful in translating the name of the postcard to English - Maienkonigin -note this is missing the various characters over the o and the i is not really an i as in English. This maybe Dutch

I have never seen another Hummel one quite like this one - but if you have let me know would love to find out how many of these truly religious ones exist.
