Because it's been five years since I put my first jewelry here on CW and was this beautiful bracelet. I thought it a good idea once more this wonderful antique piece of jewelry to show you.
I could buy this bracelet years ago from a lady who said to suffer from rheumatism. Therefore she had hurt her hand and arm and the bracelet was too heavy for her.
An so I was lucky but unfortunately with an unfortunate fact for her.

There is a mark of 585 on the closure which is 14K but today I acid tested different parts gold and the 18K acid test also succeeded.

Antique Scottish jewelry set with agates were very popular during the mid to late Victorian era and always has so much charm and character to it with wonderful colors from the agates.
Many of these pieces were made in sterling silver so it is great to find a Scottish agate piece from the 1870’s made in gold.
Made in at least 15ct gold, the bracelet is set with 4 sets of all kinds double row of agates and 4 sets of perfectly cut pieces of agate The colors from the agate is so beautiful and has the most wonderful natural patrons from the agates. The bracelet is a stunning example
and contains a lovely range of Scottish stones. The gold and
green moss agate from Burn Ane in Ayrshire, pink banded Fife
agate, dark brown Montrose agate and carnelian agate also from
    Fife.
The bracelet measures 20cm in length and looks so wonderful against any skin tone.
This is truly a wonderful piece of Scottish history and to find a bracelet in gold is just like winning the lottery!
