      It's a very nice one, with the jug, I think, in the form of a shell? And, all the information you really need is on the bottom of the jug for further searching.

      If you look up early washstands (with jug and basin), you can see the furniture they stood on.

      The jug is called a pitcher here In US and this set was used to take a sponge bath from . You poured water in basin and washed yourself . It sat on wash stand in a bedroom.
