this obviously belonged to a grandmother. it was in a pile of old jewelry i bought for $7. it looks like it was made in mexico.

That's etched by hand - very pretty! No way to know for sure where it was made, though.
I have a slightly oval locket with the same or never enough in pattern I was hoping the was a age to this one.
