    I don't know anything about this, but a picker friend brought it over tonight and i promised him i'd check it out. It appears to be woven silk, and there is writing on it. any help appreciated!

      thanks Sunnybrook! i think that this is actually a photographic print - using a textile machine. i haven't found out anything about it, but i'm pretty sure that is what it is. i'd love to know more!

      yes it is a photo print - probibly Japanese from the turn of the century.
