      Looks to be contemporary. If that is an S9. then it could simply be the ring size.

      The mounting looks to be more from the 1940's possibly.

      I think the marking is upside down in relation to the 14K . Looks like FS to me. What makes it look like a more recent piece? A revival piece then?
