Old garden sprayer or fogger?? It is a ball jar, about 5" tall- (not including the top lid piece.) It looks as if the rod that hangs into the ball jar is made of copper. Could be to cause a reaction or heating?

    Any help would be appreciated.
I found it at a charity donated sale In Hillsboro TX this past weekend, which was half price day. Paid .50 cents for it. I like it. Just something I like about it.

    Any ideas???

Maybe a horn that works on 2 substances that develop a compressed gas? Glass would be a strange choice though.

It looks like a Kirby vacuum cleaner attachment.

They used to come as an attachment on vacuum cleaners to spray whatever. Can you imagine the mess one of these things could make?

I spray painted a Lambretta LDB scooter in the 1960s with a simular vacuum cleaner spray gun, it worked verry well.
