      The Key was a sovenier from the 1939-1940 San Francisco World's Fair.

      This is a nice token from what was likely a memorable event for your Mom. The 1939 fair was a celebration of the two newly-opened bridges (Oakland and Golden Gate). It was held on Treasure Island in the Bay. My Dad also attended, riding the trains all the way across the continent.
