Going through a lot of jewelry and found this....
Needs Repair as you can see its missing one green piece.
Now this is not something I would wear even if repaired.
Don't think it's very old but I'm no expert.
marked Italy on the back

I love micro mosaic art Melanie. Although it's missing a piece, it's still a lovely brooch that would be a mistake to get rid of. Coming from Italy I wonder if it's mounted in gold. Have you had it tested? If you find out it's gold, I'll take it!! Just kidding!

This has been in a plastic tackle container for years.
There was a time I would buy jewelry by the bags at yard sales, second hand shop's and church sales. At that time you could pay anywhere from 1.00 to 5.00 for a bag of jewelry (that you could hand pick). Now day's you walk into thrift stores and they put jewelry in glass vases tape it up and want anywhere from 15.00 to 65.00 per vase....which is mostly junk in there.
I have looked for the missing piece with no luck...it was there at one time.
Also found a Coro brooch broken that I really like :(
But I'm going to have my stepson fix that.... :)
I want it, I want it, send it to meeeeeee!!!! :)
