I also like Kitchenalia. This is my $1.oo buy for today. It works perfectly, too! Measures 4 1/4 inches across and is 1 1/4 inches wide. I have a newer Philips hand mixer with two beaters, but when I use that to make whipped cream I also have whipped cream on the walls. This single whisk mixer should be much better. I tried to look up the serial number but got nothing. I imagine this is 1970s.
Thanks for looking.
Pretty cool!! I never knew there was such an item as a single beater mixer. But, now I want one!
jscotto363 - I didn't know, either. The mixer was on the back of a shelf, behind other electronics items. I had it checked to see if it worked before I handed over my $1.00! I don't know if there were more attachments to it, and can't find another one on the web.
I'm the cook in our house. My wife has me do most of the cooking, so this would be great for me.
jscott0363 - I used the mixer tonight to make scrambled eggs - gee, talk about fluffy! And no "egg spatter" on the walls.... lol!
This is really neat. I wonder if it is for mixing drinks.
Collectomaniac - I don't think so. I was a bartender and I can't think of any drink that requires an electric whisk. There are hand whisks sold for that purpose. Milk and coffee whisks have a very small, flat whisk and are battery operated.
