It's a hydrant man co1 badge it appears to be from the 1800s from others similar to this, that I have found online but can't find anything about this one or even the related fire Dept

Buffalo fire dept has a huge web site why not send them a picture and ask them?

National Aniline and Chemical Company , Buffalo NY plant. Guess the badge to be 1890's.

I have 2 of the badges from this company. I have the hook and ladder badge and the hose man badge. As mentioned earlier its from a plant that was here in Buffalo who had their own fire department. National Aniline and Chemical Company. The site still has structures up that have been repurposed into new uses. There's also a museum on site and across the street from that a spin off of Buffalo color is still in operation. If the owner of this is ever interested in letting it come back home to Buffalo I would be interested in purchasing it. Thanks.
