This car could do the quarter mile at 150 MPH. Not bad for a car this heavy. But then it had a blower and ran on nitro.
Jeff Courtie was better known for his Funny Cars in the 1970s but this is the car that was his first dragster.
I added a few woodies from the Lake Arrowhead woodie car and boat show to fill up the post.
Thank you very much Nicefice.
Oh, I love these Woody Wagons!! I've only seen one up close and personal at a car show one.
I love Woodies:)
Woodies are great
Oh ya! The Gasser wars, those were the days.
Love the Woody wagons, I have last two in 1/18 scale
Thank you very scott. Come here in June for the woodie show and you will see plenty.
Thank you very much Trey. We all do.
And thank you very much Gruff.
Thank you very much AzTom. Have you posted them?
Thank you very much Brunswick. Probably did not have mad wheels though.
Thank you very much Nicefice. It was indeed an innovative car. I wonder if it is still around in some form.
Much rejoicing. There are some articles on the web about the car and restoration.
