So I have a side bussness scraping metals of all sorts and I found this while picking up a load of junk. Once I realized what it was or what I think it is I decided to keep it to and find out more about it. So all I know is that its cast Iron and its a Apron for a Clawfoot bath tub. It sits on the floor at about 44inches long and 22 inches wide and a tub would sit on top at about 42 inches long / 36 from edge to the indent and 18 1/2 wide. I dont see any obvious casting marks or any dates but there is a spot where I think there might be one but I dont wanna clean it up till I find out exactly what it is and the right way to restore it if posible or worth doing.
