I'm extremely please to have managed to buy this Bernard Instone bracelet they don't come along very often, the others I have are all enamel. I would think it was probably made in the 1930s. What I like about this bracelet is the Silver leaves and foliage and in between are two small teardrop cut Amethyst at either side, two rectangular peridots, two cabs which I think are agate and a large diamond shape cut Amethyst in the middle. The leaves are very ornate with swirls and berries, all set on an elegant frame. The back is typical Instone, I know Im always enthusiastic about the backs of his pieces. The bracelet itself is the expanding spring links type, one of the links had the springs missing and I was lucky to have it repaired.
Yet again no Marks of any kind, but there is no doubt in my mind that this Bernard Instones work.

Beautiful, wonderful Instone piece. Almost Suffragette colours - though I have seen some jewellery with just the purple and green. I very much doubt he had their cause in his mind when creating this stunning bracelet.
