Hi CW Gang:
A BLAST from the PAST. A 1960's Toy Bank that encouraged kids to Save. Gray galvanized metal "safe" has a combination lock door with a plastic dial, rubber feet and a slot on top big enough for coins and bills. The lock does work. It is about 6&1/8" tall by 5&3/4" wide by 4" deep.
I think every kid back then had one. We had one but my brother has it now so I HAD to buy this one several years ago - for Sentimental / memory reasons. Just another thing from my stuff here at home that is from the family, or I collected.
Thanks for LOOKING / LOVING!!

It's in really nice clean original condition antiquerose. And just like the real Fort Knox, It's empty lol.
LOL at that....My Piggy Bank empty to with Xmas ....LOL. Like a lot of people...
Aaaah. ... Childhood memories... great bank, Rose!
Very cool little bank! Fort Knox is less than 30 minutes from me.
Ha, my little brother had one of these, it spent more time being opened and raided, than closed and saving, lol! What a nice memory, thanks for sharing, Rose. :)
Very nice! I still have mine and it's exactly the same except mine doesn't say fort knox..love it!
I remember these well Rosie... If you pull the door while spinning the combo lock, you can open it :) Thanks for sharing, it brings back memories!
Michael's Craft store has one just like this and says, "MINE". Cute repro.
I had one of these banks in the ? early 60s forgot all about it until seeing this Thanks.
Mom sold it in one of her many garage sales, ALL my cool stuff got sold in those darn sales ;)
