This belongs to a dear friend....we went to a flea market together about a year ago when she purchased this. Went over for dinner tonight and told her I needed to post this on CW and maybe someone on here could help us with identifying the maker/origin.

    just over 8' Tall
    very heavy
the inside glass looks red where the outer glass is clear
more beautiful in person and my cell phone pic's suck

Told her this site reaches around the world and there are many knowledgeable collectors of glass on here.....she got excited :)

she has a lot of Blenko glass and other art glass which she knows exactly what that is......but this has no signature bottom is smooth.....the felt round pads were on there when she purchased it.

appreciate any info on her beauty

Sparkly !! Love pretty!! I can not tell if it has some age wear -- looks like it. Lots of aventurine in it. I am undecided here yet......

it does have wear on the bottom.

next time I'm there I will take it outside and take more pic's because it's so beautiful in the natural light.

Celiene I was saying Murano also but I'm no expert and didn't want to tell her wrong.

It's a beautiful vase Melanie with lovely aventurine! No idea as to the maker, but one things for sure, it's a well made piece of glass!

It is def Italian, I have a similar plate....bit later than most of the Czech ware in my opinion. They did a lot of this type of ware in the 50's 60's. Hard to see colours but it looks like reds, gold, blacks etc so would think def early 50's.
Could be Murano. Nason of the 60's, he did a fair bit of Adventurine. Fontanelli...there are a few....good luck..
