    Carved with incredible detail and colour in Ivory, sure they are japanese.
    Could be Meiji period ???

    There are 8 of them in the set.
    larger ones are 30mm diameter
    Smaller are 21mm diameter

    Its very difficult to value such rare items as i've never seen anything like them on the market.

      Those are incredible! If they are Japanese, I would assume they are Japanese macaques.
