This piece came into my possession 10 years ago, I have researched Murano , AVeM and have not been able to identify this piece .
This piece measures from beak to tail a total 16 inches, from bottom of 3 sided base stands 7 inches high and weighs approx 8lbs.
I believe this piece may have a acid etched signature in the bottom of the base, but to the un-trained eye one can not be sure.
On a bright sunny day the colors are amazing and truthfully this is one of my favorite pieces.

Hi, do you have a better photo of the signature please? just a tip, when trying to get close up photo's place the object against a nuetral background if photoing against normal surroundings your camera focuses on the background not the intended subject, and also if it is a digital camera look for the setting that looks like a flower, that is macro and lets you get a beeter closeup, also dont press the take button straight away just press it half way and let it focus then press it all the way, hope this helps?
