    This is a piece that was in my curio display cabinet when I got it as it is a curio. Made by Vaughan in Chicago. Must be vintage as I don't think many can openers have been made in the USA of late. It has the number 64 on it. Possibly meaning 1964, it looks to be from around that time.

      Your opener is a generic salesmen sample from the Vaughan Churchkey Company. Sales reps would visit breweries and taverns and give these openers away while trying to set up business accounts with establishment to put their logos on the churchkeys. I believe there are about 2 other variations of these churchkeys too.

      Oh no.........I still use mine here. Take it to the lake when we go there. These are the best for everything ....... would never not have in my Kitchen
