The beaded border in the first pic makes it a little better. The roped border, which is seen in the second pic, make it less desirable when on the eagle side.
Either way, if it has a mint mark, most collectors don't want it.
Of course, the minters had a sense of humor: Where the wear begins, between the beads and bird, is where they put the tiny mint mark-- so that it vanishes first.
Still, they were kind enough to put two.
But, still, I think that there's a mint mark but am not 100% sure. That which I think is an A at right is different than that which I think is an A at left, and those are located just below the tail-feathers.
    See them? Dunno. :/

Enjoy. I love how it looks. (I was searching through two boxes of foreign coins and found it, buying it for under a quarter as they are nice at that coin store and know that I love pfennigs.)

I think I can see what looks like the tops of an "A" for the mint mark

When I picked it up, I thought it was A.
But it's the same issue as the coin in the right side of this pic:

At this point I believe what you also do, that it's A A, but it's nice to think it may not be. I go to the same place, look through a couple boxes of coins, and bring back what I like for really cheap. I even pulled a scarcer German silver piece out for 25 cents. You never know what you'll find in 20 lbs of World coins. LOL.
