    I've seen these before but not with the chain and cap I can't help but think its some type of tea pot but it has a blown glass bowl on the inside with no holes in it so I don't know what this is somebody please help

      Yours is well made. I've seen about 25 of them and they all had a cheesy straw cork in them. Likely yours is made in Italy such as the others.

      here is Mine -- Same idea as it has a area in it for the ice ( under the lion head is the opening )
