I saw her in the thrift shop this afternoon and could not leave without her. Beautiful, soft features. Well sculpted hands. These particular religious figures are very hard to find. This one has no damage at all aside from a bit of rubbing of the gold leaf on her cross. I have never seen one from Vaga. She's 8 1/2" high. Not a clue when she was made as I can't find another one.

Odd that they don't have their own webpage. Out of business, perhaps? Their web address is up for sale!
Thanks for looking, CW friends!
Nice smooth décor and clean lines, very nice
They did such a wonderful job of depicting her beautiful, serene face Bonnie!
Oh, This is really nice!!
Are you in Scandanavia? You get a lot of stuff from there!
@Celiene - This one was made in the Netherlands. Rotterdam is about 2 hours driving time from me. I would love to visit Scandinavia some day!
Thanks for the love/comments, my CW friends!
LOL - I'm American - all that general area to me is "Scandinavia", which I know is wrong! But my birth mother was Finnish & Croatian! I have a friend from Holland - and she is always on me about that!
@Celiene - I am also American. Born in the Bronx, NY. There are many people who think the Netherlands is part of Scandinavia. My former husband once had a girlfriend who asked him if they could drive from Illinois to the Netherlands to visit his parents. (!!!!!)
LMAO! Oh good lord! I'm NOT that bad!!
Serenity.
Thanks, all! She really is lovely. I am not a religious person, but find this figurine to be very soothing and would be upset if something happened to her. (Yeah I know, it's just porcelain and paint). :-) She is now living safely in my display cabinet.
