This is a fairly unique hat trunk. It was manufactured by the Innovation Trunk Co around 1910. It has a great shape, excellent condition original canvas covering, iron bound corners, solid brass lock, and corners, clamps, and handle loops. There are 3 heavy hinges, a wide iron valance, and 2 cast iron bolts. Three hardwood slats (Oak?) on top (with one amazing bend!) and three cleats on the bottom. The inside has the original linen lining with most of the makers label. The top has a very attractive Red script painted owners name. This is a very well built trunk for its time. Also included is a sliding tray for your nic-nacs. Thanks for looking,
Jim

Jim,
That's really an awesome looking hat trunk! The bend in that oak slat is AMAZING!! What incredible condition this is in. Very nice!!!!
Nice trunk Jim!
Looks like it should have been part of a set of matching luggage
Wonder if trunk company’s offered trunks in matching sets?
Cool looking top,you see the same shape on wardrobe trunks, but without the slats, much better with slats.
