More for the Quack Pack. This is probably the oldest Donald Duck pocket watches produced. Ingersoll had the Disney contract to produce watch exclusively from 1933, but that didn't stop these from being produced. These were Swiss made for an English sale firm back in 1937, two years before Ingersoll produced their first issue of a Donald Duck pocket watch, note the red and blue flags in Donald's hands. This distinguish them from a later model know as the "Ward" Donald(circa 1953), which have a blue & yellow flags. Fellow CW patron geo26e has the wristwatch posted on forum already.
Thanks for looking,
Kerry

Kerry I couldn't help noticing (finally) that two versions of the wristwatch were
shown in the above ad, one regular and the other a more deluxe version.
Sorry vonsboy, just ran across your comment, I seen all three models, but sadly, never seen the packaging....maybe someday
Thank you roddyq for stopping in, very appreciated!!
I enjoyed reading about the difference in flag colors something to watch out for great piece of info. Kerry.
Thanks again Rod, these are few and far in between, I'm still looking for the deluxe wristwatch :-)
Good Evening ttomtucker, Thanks for looking in :-)
Thank you bijoucaillouvintage, very appreciated!!
I managed to pick up one of the wrist watches in an eBay auction (I probably overpaid, but couldn't resist...). When I ran across the eBay item, I was already aware of the Collectors Weekly posting about the 1937 pocket watch and the difference in the color of the hands with the later Wards watch and of course the similarity to the Bayard clock. The Collectors weekly listing led me to the listing for the wrist watch. In doing some online research I also found a blog post from 2011 called Disneyville that I wanted to share. It included the ad, with information that it appeared in the bottom rim of the back cover of Britain's Mickey Mouse Weekly no. 96 (dated Dec. 4th, 1937). Here's a link to the blog post...
