Three more interior photos of AT&SF 020 made in 1930. The fourth photo is of Southern Pacific 570 which is a wood caboose made in 1924. They have it set up just like it would have been in the day. But it is kept looked up in a car barn so I had to take the photo through the window.
020 is road worthy although the interior is a bit rough. It gets used for the caboose train at the Orange Empire Railway Museum.
What a great view into the past!
That is awesome looking!! It's a shame that we'll never know the feeling of traveling on a train like they did in the past. Most of the tracks around my area have been taken up or no longer in use.
Thank you very much Signaholic.
And thank you very much brunswick.
