This vintage thermometer promoting Koppers Coke is about 7.5Cm tall. It features a glass dome, and a Bakelite like plastic base.
From the the phone number, we can assume that this is a really old item. But it still looks good, and its readings are very accurate.
Koppers had a coke making facility in Kearney, NJ and may have had one in Niagara Falls, NY. Can anyone confirm if this thermometer was from either of these plants? Or any idea of where the facility that it promotes may have been located? Thank you!
