Gorgeous 1930's brooch. Sellers photos. Just so excited to be getting this brooch. I've done a far bit of shopping over the summer holidays and this one really is very pretty.
The clasp denotes the period and the stones are very pretty. I'm not too sure if the stones are really Moonglow but will know soon as they are a locl seller and item in the post!
Seller describes
"A really gorgeous, large vintage brooch, c.1930s in date. The brooch is in dulled ('antique') goldtone metal, in an openwork pattern set with an oval cabochon in the center, teardrop cabochons around this and a border of round cabochons. The cabochons are in light pink, lilac, green and blue moonglow glass- really pretty! The brooch is slightly domes, with the border of round stones slightly stepped beneath the central oval section. In excellent vintage condition with a good c-clasp.
The brooch is approx. 45mm by 35mm and 15mm deep."

thanks heaps ppl...i'll be watching for the postie. Aside from the moonglows themselves I love the setting too. It's just so pretty with the centrepiece but the way the stones have an extra layer around the perimetre...its sets the rest of them off beautifully. I notice this the more I look at it...
