Kiwipaul wrote once about the "London bus effect":
You're waiting and see none in hour and then two at same time :-)

I wanted one of those for a long time, all I watched on EBay went for way too much!

The yellow and purple glass one was bought damaged from France at cheapest, repaired today and arrived another, from France too, bought at affordable price!

What is amazing is they are English.
You can see the similarities and difference between them, I think they are from same maker but different era.
The last one isn't glass, there is no bubbles in it, crystal!

These are so charming! I thought the darker was amber till I red your text. How small are they?

I love them, too. Look at the feet on the new one! And I like the way they twisted the square silver legs. Interesting 'twist' on the theme!

Hi Kyra, as my Brit buddy told me the expression it goes: "Just like a London bus, you never see one, then two come along at once!"

      More cool critters!

kyratango, what beautiful beetles! I love comparing the differences between them, so interesting to wonder if they really were made by the same maker. The one in the link is exceptional as well, beautiful colors. How lucky you are to own two of these bugs, well done you!! :)
