I'm really stuck on this one. I can't find any information about this shade of "yellow" anywhere! Nothing in the color proofs section or anything. I acquired this stamp in Sweden if that's of any help? Compare this with my other ones - it really is yellow! Any ideas??

I just found out from another collector that this is not an intentional color shade designed by the post office as a "color proof", but is a result of the "red" stamp being exposed to sunlight for many years. Since the original red ink also contained yellow pigment, as the red faded, the yellow appeared. Makes sense to me, anyone else have another explanation?

This stamp was issued in colors ranging from pink to very dark red shades. Your stamp shown is either a faded or chemical color changeling.

I have several stamps of this type, many of the ones Ihave have faded too, it seems to be a flaw of the paper or ink in this particular stamp issue.
