Nice wooden crate that was used to deliver/display Table Talk pies years ago. The company was established in the 1920s in Worcester MA and still operates today. The crate is about 23 wide and 23 inches tall. Sturdy crate that has finger joints (think that what these are called) on all edges and a hand grip on the top. It is in very nice condition, the advertising on both sides is still colorful with few signs of wear. I clear coated the crate to preserve the advertising and bring out the wood tones. One of the shelves is broken, my cat figured it was a great place for her to hide.
I plan on using it in the office to hold paper, envelopes etc. Hopefully I will get better organized, don't count on it you know what they say... you can't teach an old dog new tricks.
Thanks for the love

i have a few of these back in new england. my pepere had a truck to distribute Table-Talk Pies.
ho2cultcha - you see a lot of these in New England. What attracted me to this one is the condition of the advertising on the sides . Most of the ones I've seen are beat up and the paint is faded or worn off.
